AIC Travel Group is looking for Technical Support, to join its IT department.
The main responsibilities for this role are:
- Freelance Technical Support agent
- Your personal notebook
- Master our reservation system
- Being able to explain how it works and best practices
- Acquire a good knowledge of the various protocols involved
- Being able to follow transactions between our system and supplier's ones
- Being helpful both with customers and suppliers in order to facilitate problems resolution
ORGANIZATION AND WORKING SCHEDULE
-The persons will have to work from his own home.
-You will be a AIC freelance booking agent.
The ideal candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Degree in science
- Knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge of XML technology
- Knowledge of like operating systems Linux / Unix
- Ability to write documentation (eg: FAQ)
- Good communication skills (oral / written)
- Ability to act as a bridge between customers and the software development team
- Ability to generate weekly reports (eg. Report on "the problem of the week")
- "Focused on delivering"
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of relational databases, especially MySQL and PostgreSQL
- Autonomy in identifying problems with web interfaces
- Experience using tools issue tracking
The following characteristics are mandatory:
- Fluent in English (and Italian is a real plus)
- Creativity, energy and strong results-oriented
- Positive attitude with good initiative and productivity
- Interpersonal skills and teamwork
- Analytical skills and problem solving
- Flexibility
- Ability to manage stress
- Ability to manage priorities
- Multitasking
