Quality assurance engineer

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Perform functional, integration, regression, smoke testing
Deliver high quality test coverage against tight schedules
Work closely with the software and web development team
Take responsibility of the quality assurance within the business
Create test plans, test strategies, checklist for sanity and smoke testing
Describe test cases


Candidate Profile

Educated to degree level in related subject (Computer Science, MIS or related field) or able to demonstrate significant relevant experience
2+ years of testing experience in industry
Experienced in functional, integration, module, regression testing
Strong web testing skills (understanding and knowledge of contemporary QA methodologies and standards);
Experience of cross browser (IE, Chrome, Firefox, Safari) testing of Web Applications
Experience of testing Mobile Applications
Ability to write testing documentation (checklists, test cases, test plans etc.)
Experience of REST based API and Web services testing or being ready to learn
English at least Intermediate level (knowledge of Greek would be a plus)
Troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
Skilled for effective working in a team environment
