We are a technology provider based in Luxembourg, delivering data-driven solutions, consulting, and software development services to European clients in the fields of Knowledge Graphs, Linked (Open) Data, Natural Language Processing, and Data Science.


Hiring Overview

We are looking to expand our team with a Full-Stack Developer to get involved in private and open-source projects involving Semantic Web technologies. Our clients are primarily European Public Institutions, and the projects that we work on range from establishing interinstitutional data standards, developing data-intensive systems, innovating on new cutting-edge tools and implementing open standards.


What shall you expect to do daily?

Methodically write beautiful code that works, fulfil requirements, is tested, is well documented, is clean and that makes you proud;
Work with colleagues to ideate software solutions and designs;
Create new front-end features using TypeScript and NodeJS and strengthen your testing skills with Jest, Mocha and Storybook;
Create new backend features using Python and expand your testing skills with pyTest and pyBDD;
Develop closed- and open-source tools implementing W3C technological standards;
Learn from your colleagues, develop yourself, and impact Meaningfy projects;

You are someone who

Have a habit of leaving code in better shape than you’ve found it;
Don’t like process or quality problems to stay around, and would go out of your way to fix them;
Previously coded something you find exciting and cannot wait to tell us about it;
Make decisions after looking at a problem from all angles;
Are comfortable receiving and providing feedback;
Are comfortable working in English.


Must have

Degree in Computer Science, Information science, Statistics, or equivalent;
Can code blindfolded in JavaScript Python (experience in similar roles);
Have experience with a modern web framework;
Proficiency in a front-end language (e.g. JavaScript, TypeScript, Dart, CoffeScript), standards (e.g. HTML(5), CSS, LESS, XML, XSLT)
Good understanding of JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue);
Proficiency in a back-end language (e.g. Python, Java, PHP);
Experience designing and developing clean and effective REST APIs;
Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
Great attention to detail and an analytical mind.


Nice to have

Solid understanding of modern multi-tire application stacks, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), best practices, design patterns applied in web development;
Experience working with Nginx, Apache servers with a solid background in Linux;
Understanding of TDD & DDD methodologies and Clean (architecture, code, coder, agile) philosophy
Understanding of Semantic Web standards (i.e. RDF, Turtle, OWL, SPARQL, SHACL/ShEx, RML/R2RML, etc.) and technologies (rdflib, Fuseki, SOLID)

We are based in Luxembourg and Moldova. But our main office is virtual, in the could. So you can work from any physical location you want (including 100% home office) as long you are within the European time zones. We offer employment and long-term freelance contracts.
