Role

We are looking for a Data Engineer to strengthen our Big Data Analytics division.
The resource, included in a multifunctional team consisting of Data Engineer, Data Analyst and Data Scientist, will be responsible for the management and optimization of the Data Analytics infrastructure, having the opportunity to work on structured projects of different types.

Requirements

Must have
- Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or other scientific disciplines
- Experience in data handling and modelling contexts (ETL/ELT, DWH, Semantic Model)
- Experience with Data Lakehouse architectures (and medallion architecture)
- Good knowledge of SQL language
- Knowledge of Python language (especially for the use of data frames)

Nice to have
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Services (Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL DB, Azure Data Factory)
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI
- Approach to Microsoft Fabric
- Knowledge of the main database management, maintenance and optimization methodologies, in particular relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with Databricks

- Ability to interpret the requirements collected or provided in order to translate them into the best data modelling choices
- Analytical inclination and critical spirit in problem solving
- Organizational skills, precision and attention to detail
- Proactive attitude in a team context
