Muume AG (www.muume.com) is an emerging growth company in the field of digital solutions for the retail and consumer industry. We develop and sell standard solutions in this segment, especially for small and medium-sized market participants in Switzerland,Germany and abroad. For the top segment, we work with large international consulting companies and resellers, to which we contribute as a technology provider. We also develop digital solutions and platforms for traditional card providers on their way to digital cards. Muume employs around 30 software engineers at various locations. Senior Android Development

Job Specs:


Your key responsibilities will be:

To help architect, develop and maintain our Android apps;
To ensure best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of the app;
To help and guide the product team when designing new features;
Technologies:

Keep on top of new libraries and technologies like:
Reactive programming (RxJava)
DI (Dagger)
UI testing (Espresso)
HTTP client (Retrofit)
Networking (OkHTTP)
Google Support Libraries
Google Play Service (Maps, Location, Places)


Requirements
Skills & Requirements:

2+ years of experience developing on Android;
Excellent understanding of Java and programming concepts such as multithreading, MVP with DI, UI and unit testing, Reactive programming, layered architecture;
Good understanding of Material Design;
Feel at ease with most programming concepts of Android the Android User Interface has no secrets for you;
2+ years of experience developing in high level OO languages (Java,C++, etc.);
Excellent understanding of programming patterns and ability to architect elegant solutions to complex problems;
Flexibility to deal with a rapidly changing environment;
Passion for quality and maintainability of code.
Preferably you also have:

Good experience in writing Espresso and unit tests;
Familiarity with Gradle and Jenkins;
Experience with Git and Jira
