Role Overview:
We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our team and ensure the quality of our applications. You will work with multiple development teams (PHP, Java, .NET, Angular, Bootstrap) and be responsible for automated testing of web applications, APIs, and system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain automated end-to-end tests using Cypress or Playwright.
Develop and execute API tests using tools like Postman, k6, SoapUI
Conduct performance testing and analyze system behavior under load.
Collaborate with developers to integrate SonarQube for code quality checks.
Create detailed test plans and report defects effectively.
Work closely with DevOps to ensure test automation is part of the CI/CD pipeline.
Maintain test documentation and ensure compliance with testing best practices.
Job Requirements:
2+ years of experience in software testing.
Strong knowledge of automated testing tools (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium).
Experience with API testing and performance testing tools like k6.
Familiarity with SonarQube for static code analysis.
Proficiency in JavaScript for test automation.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (GitLab, Jenkins).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Bonus Points For:
Experience in eCommerce testing.
Knowledge of security testing best practices.
ISTQB certification or equivalent.
Personal Qualities:
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality products.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
